SEASON 5: Soccermanager 23; Episode 13 : TRAINING (PT.3)

Hey soccermanagerite. Welcome back to another episode. Let’s not waste any time and get straight into it:

TRAINING REPORTS

Continuing off from yesterday, we head unto the ‘Training Reports’ page where you are able to see how each player within the 3 different compartments of your entire squad (first team, reserve team and youth team) have been progressing in terms of them getting an increased rating. Each player’s improvement is dependent on their age, performances, and overall rating with the latter being more capable of improving if he is of a lower rating, while higher rated players (80+) take slightly longer to improve since they are coming in a time of their career where they are considered the “final package”. We also get to see each player’s chemistry level with the rest of their teammates, as well as their current fitness level.

You also get to see a ‘summary’ of everything on this page. This summary includes some of the things that we went over in episode 7 when we talked about how ‘player potential’ works. There is also a showcase of the current training capacity, injured players, and the average fitness boost granted to each player after the training session is complete. You also have the option of beginning a training session on this page but I advise that you only do this at the main training section that we explained in yesterday’s episode.

As you can see the impact of training is determined on whether a player is considered an improving player, peak player, or a player in decline. I’ve already explained how each of these work back in episode 7 of this season

UPGRADE

We’re almost getting to the fun part soccermanagerite! It’s now time to quickly go over everything on the ‘Upgrade’ page. On this page, you will be able to upgrade your training facility which will have a better impact on each player’s development. Since we’re starting out at level 0, we will be upgrading to level 1 and have greater access to perks such improving the training capacity by 2 players (remember we’re trying to bring it back down in order to avoid paying the fees), as well as improving Goalkeeping, Attacking and Tactical training by 5%

The upgrade costs $1.39M USD, and if you were looking you would’ve seen that we currently have a balance of $35.65M USD (balance can be found in top left hand corner in the image above). Now then, it’s time to upgrade the training facility!

In order to upgrade, it will take roughly 4 weeks (of time within the game) for this to occur, but there is a method to speed up the construction of the upgrade which I will mention shortly. For now, here is what to expect on the screen once you’ve clicked the ‘upgrade’ button:

After clicking confirm, the game will save automatically and we will be able to see an image of the facility being constructed with all of the items necessary for the work to be completed!

Gotta love SM23, am I right?

Since this is a tutorial, we are going to speed up the construction process. In order to do this, we have to choose one of two options: 1) finish it completely via spending SM Credit (SM coins) or 2) watching an ad which will take a week off of construction.

If I decide to spend SM coins it will cost 100 SM coins to finish the upgrade now and I only have 165 SM coins, so I am going to watch a couple of ads and get back with you as soon as I’m finished.

*Watches ad one* 😐

*Watches ad two* *wanders off into space while looking around my office*

Check out the progress!

*Watches ad three with a bit more enthusiasm* 😀

*Watches final ad*

FINALLY, THE ROCK HAS COME BAC———— ooops, wrong sport…….. 😶

FINALLY, LEVEL 1 IS COMPLETE!

🎶 TAADAAAA🎶

Now that the facility has been upgraded, we can start to perform our very first training session.

*Timer rings off*

Awwww, shucks… seems like we’re out of time soccermanagerite. Make sure to join us tomorrow as we’ll be preforming a training session live for everyone to see with their very own eyes. I will also be explaining my strategy for getting the most out of each training with some help via checking back on the training report to see what summary my Assistant Manager has for me.

DO NOT miss out on all the fun. See you soon!!!
