Welcome back to yet another week of your favorite soccermanager blog lads! Hope you are all doing well. Now, Let me use this time to thank you for continuously coming back here and reading these blogs. It really means a lot to me and whenever I see a comment, like, or receive a message pertaining this game from you it brings me soooo much joy! If you’re someone who’s looking to improve your tactical understanding, why not join our group on Facebook where we explain all the tactical elements of both SM23 and SM Worlds. I’ll leave a link to the group at the end of today’s blog.
Now then, on to the importance of this week’s discussions: The Training Facility
Here is the area where you have the opportunity to truly display your ability to improve the players within your squad. Soccer is all about development, and it is your primary responsibility to ensure that your players within your team are being trained to the best of you and your staff’s ability. The reason for this importance is down to the fact that, unlike in SM Worlds, you play a huge role in whether they will reach their full potential (if you don’t play SM Worlds just know that the development of a player is completely out of your control). By performing the correct training, at the correct time, in the correct manner, you will be able to garner a reputation for being a manager who develops elite players.
With that out of the way, let’s get into what you can expect from the Training section within SM23.
When you first get to this page, you will be brought to an image of your training facility at ‘level 0’ with various different buttons on screen that will take you to different areas. These buttons are the ‘Training Drills’ area, ‘Training Reports’ area, The current level of the facility, the current number of training drills available each week( bare in mind that you can only participate in one training session per week), and an ‘upgrade’ button where you get the opportunity to install new items into the facility which helps to improve each player’s ability over a period of time.

As you already know, these blogs are similar to a “quickie” which allows them to be read in a very efficient manner to a point where there’s no need for you to ponder whether you should read it all at once( this is my way of saying that today’s blog is over….. lol 😅).
Before we leave, I want you to try something: I want you to view the image below and imaging having your own training session based on your tactics and the style of manager that you are. I know you’ve watched videos on YouTube about your favorite club’s training during the week before their match on the weekend. I want you to take all of those visuals gained from these videos and incorporate them into your visualization. Make it as long and as realistic as possible. Add things like seeing your team warm up, performing various drills such as rondos, 5 a sides, juggling competitions etc.; view camera shots of yourself within the training facility speaking with your assistant manager and other coaches….. Bring as much realism into these visuals as you possibly can because they’ll help you release the inner managerial expert that’s within all of us.

See you tomorrow.
