Oh… So we forgot to mention that we will be using 10 formations that we personally believe will be the best one to use based on the team instuctions that you’ve decided to play.
MIXED AND MIXED! The style of play that is synonymous with beginners of our beautiful game but has WAY more nuance than simply being a measly introduction to Soccermanager tactics. This style of play allows for the most fluidity from the defence to the attack in terms of positional freedom. Players don’t have a lot of responsibility in terms of strict instructions BUT it is important that the XI is stacked with personnel who are comfortable with such freedom since not all players like to express themselves and would prefer to have more structure and a more rigid set up so they can know where exactly to be on the pitch and what they should be doing whilst in possession.
With that brief intro on what to expect out of the way, here’s our first look at the team whom we believe will thrive playing a Mixed and Mixed style of play *🥁*
We mentioned that some players within each starting XI will have star/s above or next to their name as to indicate that they will be the ones that the club, the management, and the supporters will be expecting to perform well game by game (We’ve already explained how to know if you’re getting the most out of your players in a season 8 episode look at the commentary section. Feel free to check that episode out after this). The reasons we’ve done this is due to the fact that many Soccermanagerites still feel the need to flood their club with players rated 93+ in order to win the big prizes, and that simply doesn’t have to be the case. As long as you’ve got the right players in the right system then you WILL be winning things or surviving the drop, trust us! 🤞
With all that being said, there will be no more than 5 players within each XI who are considered the stars of the team, and here is how you’ll better understand how imapctful said player is:
🌟: Player is considered an impactful player but also doesn’t have the capabilities to decide a match on his own.
🌟🌟: Player is considered one of the go to players on the pitch in terms of impact, but might struggle if all of the pressure is placed on him for too long.
🌟🌟🌟: Player is considered the star of the team, the one who the rest of the XI relies on to execute match deciding actions game after game.
Now, we realized that today’s episode will turn out to be a bit longer than we usually aim to post, so we’ll be sharing a part 2 tomorrow going into more depth on the starting XI, the players that have been chosen, and the player instructions that will be used.
