SEASON 11: SM24 (THE REVIEW); EPISODE 1: It’s About Time

“FINALYYYY…”

“S.M.B HAS COME BACK TO THE SOCCERVERSE!”

“๐Ÿคจ”

This indeed has been a long time coming… While many content creators of SM gameplay are probably gearing up for SM25’s release (which is just a few months away), we’ve demonstrated a bit of a ‘Late Adopter’ approach and are only now getting to the breakdown of what has been a record breaking video game for the creators of Soccermanager, so far.

It’s not for a lack of trying, tho… We actually started playing SM24 ever since it first came out in 2023, but something simply didn’t seem right to us. While every other facet of the game seemed to have improved, there was one area that simply left us quite despondent, so we took our minds to other ventures. But now, we’ve done the necessary “research” required and we’re looking forward to season 11’s review of the aforementioned Soccermanager 24! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Alright, so our season will be played via using the English team Wolverampton Wanderers. These episodes will be a “window shopping” style of blogs, with a few “stores” being checked out whenever there’s a heightened interest…

So, we start off with one of the first things that we see within our inbox, with the newly installed “International Management” section where there’s a message giving information about the upcoming Copa America, Euros, and Asain Cups in 2024…

Straight out the gate, we’ve got a complainer within the club (๐Ÿ˜‘). Josรฉ Sรก seems to believe that he’s gotten too big for the club and is now questioning us on where the future holds for Wolves. “Mate, I literally just got here 36 freaking minutes ago…”
Here we have our club… With an average rating of 72, and a pretty young squad age, it’s expected that we’ll be one of the favorites to get relegated this season…
For all the OG Soccermanagerites, you’ll know that we don’t purchase any new players during our first season, therefore we’re considering looking into the already loaned out players to see if there’s anyone who peaks our interest. We’re planning to play a back 3 system, so this lad right here is someone we’ll be considering on making a return…
A new feature? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ It seems like we have to pay a fee to allow any loanees to return to the club, and quite frankly this is a good edition since it is more realistic and also protects the loaned club as they get a monetary gain for us wanting to bring Hoever back…
Another new feature! This Wolves team has quite a few players that we’re getting rid of, but it seems as if our hands are tied. Although we respect this professional approach, this could realistically cause a Manager to want to resign, but we presume this is what happens behind closed doors at clubs in real life, eh…
After consolidating with the rest of the staff, here is the Wolves team that will aim to survive the drop for the 23/24 season! ๐Ÿ’ช

We’ll end it here today, Soccermanagerites. We’ve got some big things coming during season 11, so make sure you’re back for the next one!โœŒ๏ธ
