SM24 ATTRIBUTES
Just as with Trent, we’re going to have to dive deeply into the make up of Harry Kane’s representation within SM24, and we don’t know why, but for some reason whenever there’s been an English player within this season we’re forced to do most of our editing and longer episodes… Eh, it’s all good though cause we seriously wouldn’t want it any other way! 🙌
Kane isn’t your typical F(C)… He is a wonderful football player who possesses a different type of elegance that has nothing to do with skills or tekkers, but everything to do with efficiency as a player based on the position that one plays. Benzema might have better movement, Lewandowski might be more sharper in the box, Haaland might be more explosive, but none of them can compare to Harry Kane’s overall game.
Like I mentioned earlier, we’re going DEEP with our explanation in today’s episode since every attribute and its rating needs to be fully understood in order for you Soccermanagerites to have a grasp on the beautiful game on a whole nother level!
TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES
We can skip the first two on the list since they don’t matter in Harry Kane’s case and go straight into his Positioning (😒)… Harry Kane is one of the most positionally aware players in the world and is almost always in the right place to collect the ball wether he’s on the half way line or in the penalty box ; Although we mentioned that Benzema has better Movement than Harry, that is mainly down to Karim being a more mobile player having played in F(L) and F(R) within his career, while H has only ever played F(C). That still doesn’t take away from his world class Movement as he is exceptional when it comes to finding space in and around the box which makes him a nightmare to defend ; There’s no need to explain his Finishing since H has got 259 reasons as to why he’s in the elite level scoring club ; Harry Kane is simply not a Dribbling F(C)… He doesn’t maneuver through tight spaces and competely avoids ever getting himself into these kind of situations since it’s not one of his strengths ; We know that he’s not a wide player, but Kane’s ability to strike a football is so sublime that we had to improve his Crossing since if you were to ask him to whip balls into the box he’d do so with ease… ; Ball Control is about spot on.

It’s safe to say that Harry Kane doesn’t have a Penalties rating of 71 (which is lower than 🤬ing Lukaku’s and on par with Darwin 🤬ing Nunez’) and is nothing short of an embarrassment… ; We’ve given him an increase in Corners since we’ve already mentioned that Kane has one hell of a ball striking technique ; Although a Creativity of 82 is decent for a F(C), Harry is not your average F(C) and his relationship with Heung Min Son is testament of that.

What makes this lad so special is that not only is he technically superb, he can get down and dirty with the physicality aspect of the game which is exactly why we believe that there isn’t a more all rounded F(C) out there still playing…
Harry is as exceptional in the air as you’d expect, but he’s not fast. As a matter of fact, he’s never been fast, never had any sort of acceleration, and one of the major reasons why he was told he’d never make it is down to this lack of Pace (which is ridiculous, but whatever…) ; That Stamina of 76 needs to go in the bin cause although he suffered with ankle issues in the past that had absolutely nothing to do with his overall fitness, as this is a player who’d play 270 minutes plus extra time in one week and would still be the first person at training come the following Monday morning… ; As we mentioned, H can get dirty with the dark arts of D(C)‘s and isn’t shy when displaying his Strength and phenomenal hold up play whenever it is needed ; Was considering improving his Workrate to 90 since Harry was simply a beast under Pochettino when it came to pressing, but he’s 31 now and I understand why his Workrate is where it is…

MENTAL ATTRIBUTES

H’s Mentality stands supreme, man. This guy was touted as not good enough at age 20 and ended up becoming the 2nd highest goal scorer in the Premier League and his nation’s all time leading goalscorer… That takes a different kind of mindset. And that’s exactly what he brings to the table…
Wouldn’t say that H is the most Aggressive player since that simply isn’t his game ; His Composure of 86 is quite disgusting for a player who is in discussion of being the greatest goal scorer of all time (🙄) ; Not only is he focused in possession but he never strays out of possession, is never caught slacking or being lazy when he doesn’t have the ball and is ALWAYS switched on, but has a Concentration of 71… ; Have you ever seen Kane do a step over? A Rabona? A backheel pass? A NUTMEG? (This is becoming laughable…) ; Although an 89 in Leadership is respectable, he deserves more. From where he’s come from to where he is now, he has got to be one of the best captains in the world and deserves higher Leadership.

We haven’t mentioned it yet, but we’ve improved his overall rating from 92 to 94 because he bloody deserves it!
