It’s SUMMERTIME Soccermanagerites!!!!! ☀ 😎
I know most of you are probably thinking of going on a mental vacation with all of the big leagues coming to an end, but Soccermanager has no vacation, and you’ve got some trophies to win. So, without further a due, I’ll officially like to welcome you to season 7: The season that will ensure you get the ABSOLUTE best out of your world class players and never feel frustrated EVER again!
First things first, I will have to explain what I perceive as a “world class” player since the term world class is being used all over the place and given to players who simply have not been consistently changing games for an extended period of time to be deemed at such a high prestige.
A world class soccer player is someone who has the ability to single handeldly win a match for his team and has the resilience to do such a feat over and over for a long time. World Class players don’t have what is known as “bad seasons” since their grit, dedication, determination, and, most importantly, their ability will not allow that to occur. A bad season for a world class player would be considered a very good season for a “good’ or “great” player.
Therefore, in order for us to truly class a player within the bracket of “the best”, he needs to be of a particular rating within Soccermanager Worlds, and the rating that I’ve chosen to classify a world class player is between 94-99

Alrighty, with that out of the way, let me explain the reason behind the creation of this season. One thing I’ve noticed over my 14 years of playing this game (as well as the comments and conversations I tend to have with a lot of managers) is that there are a lot of us who are pulling hair out of our heads whilst trying to get the best out of our world class players. We play them in what we think is their best position or role, yet they’re still not performing up to standards. They show glimpses every now and then, but their simply not performing at a consistent level and it leaves us absolutely flabbergasted and pissed. So, with me being regarded as the “Soccermanager expert” (your words, not mine), I’ve decided to use my developed wisdom to help anyone struggling to get their world class players to perform better than how they currently are. And here’s how we’re gonna do just that:
*We’ll go over a quick background of each world class player ✅️
*We’ll highlight each player’s best attributes from SM23 which will be crucial within SM Worlds ✅️
*We’ll talk about the best roles that fit each player ✅️
*We’ll explain how the player should be used within SM Worlds ✅️
*We’ll discuss the best teammates that would suit this player to get the most out of him as well as the rest of the team ✅️
I’ll end today’s intro with the following notice: Every World Class player within Soccer has this three letter word conumdrum that makes it quite difficult to manage them. This 3 letter word is called an ‘ego’. And this ego is what’s needed in order for these players to get to the top of their game, but this is the same ego that could lead them into having their head in their asses in terms of beleieving they’re bigger than the team, the club, and even the sport…. This isn’t a bad thing, but it is something that must be managed well and, in my opinion, the best way to manage the ego of world class players is to ensure that they are the star of the show. In order to do this, you should NEVER have more than 4 world class players within your entire team (5, if the balance of the team is right). So, in soccermanager jargon, you should only have up to four 94-99 rated players, with the rest of your 21 man squad being a mixture from 85-93. This is the only way to ensure that these egos do not impact their performances on the pitch.
Alrighty, that was our intro into season 7. I hope you are ready to get stuck in because we’ll be starting off the series with our look at the first player on our world class list tomorrow. See you then, Soccermanagerite! ✌️
