How’s it going? More importantly, how are your youngins? 🤔
This is the area where you get to keep the football gravy train going via ensuring the continuous production of youngsters who have the opportunity to make their way into the reserves and then eventually into becoming apart of your first team. I am lucky to be managing one of the best clubs in the world right now when it comes to youth development (Hashtag Brighton), but that’s in real life…. Let’s see if I got what it takes to replicate it within SM23.
YOUTH ACADEMY
When you’re just starting out the process of develpoing your youngins there won’t be any players available to choose from. We will be performing an upgrade of this facility tomorrow, but for now let me go over everyhting that’s on the above image: The current youth intake size is 3 players at a time, with the frequency of new youth players being every 26 weeks (so, every 6 months basically) with there being a chance of giving 1 youngster per intake a professional contract with the club. The capacity is at 5 which means that there are only 5 players allowed within this area (for now atleast).
YOUTH PLAYERS REPORT
Another area that brings me sooo much joy! In here is where we get to locate how the effect of the youth facility helps each youngster improve their game to a level where they can potentially obtain a professinal contract. Some of the things to look out for are: the increase chance of identifying quality youth, the training, the Compatability (which is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL!!!), the rating accuracy which is each youngin’s perceived rating, and their potential rating which is basically a future rating
Alrighty Soccermanagerites, that was our look into the youth training facility. Tomorrow, we will be ending the week by upgrading the facility to see what goodies are available on the other side (Are you excited as I am?)!
