
Expenses (yuck 🤮)
We all have em, and unfortunately they’re impossile to avoid because there are some expenses that can actually help with generating income in the future. But we’re not here to get too nitty gritty with the details. Let’s just stick with what we have on the following image for now, mmmkay?

As you can see here, the expenditures within the club are what causes them to not be a steady pofitable business on a weekly basis. Things have to function properly therefore money has to be spent in order to keep the business above water. Let’s dive into these things, shall we?
Staff Wages: This is the cost of every other staff member within the club
Player Wages: This is how much it costs to have each players within the team on a weekly and seasonally basis
Ground Maintenance: This is the cost of ensuring that the stadium and the rest of the club’s facilities are up to date
Training Ground: This is the cost of maintaining the training facilily
Youth Academy: The cost of maintaining the youth academy facility
Transfer Money Out: The cost of purchasing potential new players
Administration: This is the money spent on keeping the business active in the public eye. So things like marketing, Ads, media collaborations and investing in other brands are example of Administration. These are a perfect example of the types of expenses that have the potential of generating more income within the future
Overheads: These are the necessary items within a business that keep it functioning well such as property taxes, health coverage, utility and bills, furniture etc.
Other Outgoings: An example of other outgoings are things like Emergency ideals such as a power outage, pipe leakage, natural disasters etc. Upgrading different areas wihtin the club are also considered another outgoing.
