Hello and welcome back to yet another week of your favorite Soccer Blog. Hope u had a fantastic weekend that has conjured up an appetite for some good ole Soccermanager content.
The Club Zone. One of the best things about this game is it’s impeccable attention to detail with majority of it’s features being based on how clubs in real life operate. So, rather than completely ignoring this section via going straight towards the tactics and gameplay area, let’s take the time to understand everything that the Club Zone section has to offer:
COMPONENTS OF THE CLUB ZONE
Like I mentioned in a previous episode, one of every club’s best method of obtaining steady income is via the match day experience. This experience consists of ticket sales, and vendors which all can be increased via upgrading the facility.
There’s a reason why club owners do a lot of stuff just to be able to play European football season after season or why clubs from a lower division try their optimal best to stay in the top tier. The revenue obtained via TV rights is very impactful on the club’s bottom line. So much so that a team like Brighton who are not expected to qualify for Europe have a base starting amount of $35.36M obtained per season which is obtained via Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup matches only. Now, just imaging how much more lucrative the club will be once I get them into the Champions League next season????
The better your Medical Staff, the better the chance of keeping players fit for longer periods. When you just start out in your career you will have access to the normal quality of Medical Staff based on your team’s current status within the game and as you progress and improve the aspect of your club you will see how effective it is to ensuring that your players maintain their health for longer in the season.Another decent source of income is obtained through selling club merchandise. Continuously, upgrading this area means that the club are more capable of displaying the club merch to a broader market What’s a professional set up without good ole hospitality? If you’re uncertain what this is then the Hospitality area of a Soccer Club is quite similar to an all inclusive hotel where players get the opportunity to hang around the lobby area, play different games, access to the kitchen, bathroom, gym as well as different areas where they can relax before they’re getting into game mode. Away clubs also have access to these hospitality services as well as season ticket holders who can afford to stay within the facility
So we had the Injury prevention area where you upgrade the components of the medical team in order to aid them in the prevention of player injuries, and we also have the injury recovery area where players whom are currently injured gain access to quality prehab that allows them the best possible method of returning to full fitness.
As you can see, the components found within the Club Zone are extremely important to every area of the club which is why I was adamant that we went over it in order for every manager playing this game to take it into their consideration as much as the other things that have most of our attention.
Check back tomorrow where we’ll be going over the the Sponsorship area 👍
