After taking a look at some of the different randomized players that were given a scouting report, I will be assigning my Scout with his very first task of identifying what I believe would be a player that could potentially come in and be a right fit for Brighton & Hove Albion. Now, as I’ve mentioned in previous episodes, I actually have a policy of not signing any players during my first season at any club I’m at so this is simply an example of my thought process that I would consider for future signings as well as a test of the current ability of my Scout 🙌
Let’s get into it:
The first thing that we’ll need to do is head onto the Scouting page and identify The ‘Scout Assignments’ button:
After clicking this button, we will be brought to the area where we can assign our Scout a task to perofrm. Simply click the ‘Assign Scout’ button:

Based on my current Brighton squad, we’d be in need of an Advanced playmaker who can play outwide since that is the only type of player we are currently lacking:
Next up is the player role I’m interested in, and like I just mentioned, I would be seeking an Advanced playmaker:
The age profile at Brighton is all about youth so we’ll be looking for some potential prospects:
Brighton are a feeder club (which means that they buy players for a low price in the pursuit of developing them and selling them for a large profit) so the valuation will be around this ball park:
We’re looking for some bargains, so the best way to obtain this would be to obtain players who are almost out of contract:
In order to allow my Scout a broader area to locate players, we’re going to leave Transfer Status, Country, and Nationality as is:
