Time to scout some potential Ballers!!! 🤩 😃 ⚽️
A page that must not be underestimated, here is the area of Soccermanager where you are granted the opportunity to send members of your staff on a quest to locate some of the most promising players who could be a potential fit for your current squad. Not only does this take away some of the guesswork that’s involved with identifying new players, its also a time saver since you won’t have to be manually searching for players that you find interesting. Plus why not give the Scouts some work to do???
Normally, I tend to keep the first episode of a new mini series as a simple introduction into what to expect from the upcoming week, but this time around we’re gonna be getting straight into the good stuff!
SCOUT ASSIGNMENTS
At the start of your Soccermanagerial Career, you will be granted with the option of assigning 1 scout (whom I like to consider as your Head Scout) to seek and locate players that you are considering for purchase based on your current squad. In Football, the more scouts you have at your exposure the better the chance of having a larger, more diverse crop of players to choose from.
FACILITY EFFECTS
The Scouting facility from day 1 will be at level 0 so there will be a lot more improvement to get into in order to truly get the most from your Scouts. Now, this dosen’t mean that you should be automatically upgrading everything from the start since you’ve got to approach this game with as much realism as you possible can. Why? Because it makes playing WAYYYY MORE interesting.
The last two from the image above are extremely important. Compatibility Accuracy indicates the likeliness that your Scout will suggest players who are actually a right fit for your team, while the Potential Accuracy also indicates the level of soccer knowledge your scout possesses. Unfortunately, the only way to improve both of these would be to upgrade the Scouting Facility.
