Ello soccermanagerite! You ready to get straight into the good stuff? Awesome, les get it!
Let’s go over the reserve and loanees’ pages respectively since there’s really not a lot to explain. It is important that you have some form of plan to incorporate your reserve players into your first team due to the fact that when you’re just starting out in your career there will be a MAX amount of players whom you can train with. Going over this MAX amount means penalties, which is another thing negatively impacting the company’s bottom line. So, if you don’t have a plan for any of your reserve players, I suggest that you either send them out on loan (please only send them to teams where game-time is realistic) or sell them all together.
Loanees are of course players that the club has placed on loan prior to your arrival and there is an option to recall any of them if you are considering a spot for them within your first team. If you choose to leave them out on loan, ensure that you are actively checking on their performances around every 10 matches since you’ll want a grasp on how they are progressing and you don’t want to be in a situation where you’re at Matchday 30, thinking about new signings for next season, and completely forget about your loanees!
THE REPORTS PAGE
OVERVIEW
The Overview section on this page is all about you having a briefing of some of the important elements within your squad. This tends to change based on your decisions about players within your 25, reserves, and loanees. Since most of the items on this page is self explanatory, I will give a brief explanation on each via captions under the following images:
As you can see, Brighton and Hove Albion are ranked 8 stars out of 10 which indicates that they are considered a very good team. The average rating of the 25 man first team is ‘74’, the average age is 23 (which is freaking fantastic), while the average value of each player is $10M USD which means that they are a lot of players within my squad who have a high ceiling in terms of potential. Lastly, the total value of the first team is around $253.5M USDHere are my top 3 players within the squad. Based on what I’m seeing, I have a top Modern Keeper, a baller as a Deep-lying playmaker and a workaholic as a Wing back *rubs fingers birdman style*
SELECTION
Here is where you can look at the players within your squad that are unavailable due to either being injured or suspended
MORALE
Here is where you can see the players with different morale issues. I currently have 2 reserve team youngsters and a first team Defender who are currently “unsettled”. The 2 youngsters are probably on the lower end in terms of their chemistry, while Joel Veltman is probably unhappy with his game-time from last season. Since I have no intention of making any new signings, it will be imperative that I boost his morale up before he starts to negatively impact his teammates
CONTRACTS
Here we are shown players whom are into their final year with the club. Based on this list, I gotta get them signed back up because I am a huge fan off all 3 players!
DEVELOPMENT
Development is where you get to look at the players who are performing the best within training. I have not performed a training session as yet, but I will be doing that live in a future episode when we break down the ‘Training’ facility. Here is where you can check out the best youth players within your entire squad (both first and reserve team players). Based on this list, I must say that Brighton has some seriously good young players who I am itching to start using throughout the season as I am a huge fan of youth development!!!
That’s the end of today’s episode lads but tune in tomorrow for our look into the player profile section. ✌️
