Tasks list

Like I mentioned yesterday, the ‘Tasks’ area is where we obtain notifications pertaining different duties that we must get out of the way before we can even think about formations and starting X1’s. In today’s episode, we’ll be breifly going over each item within the task list.

INBOX

The inbox is simply where we will obtain new information about different areas of the club based on the time of the seaon. Since I recently started managing Brighton, it is currently July 2022 witin the game, therefore my inbox contained messages about players currently out on loan, a welcoming message from my chairman, and some important fixtures to note for the upcoming season:

WORLD NEWS

The world news is where we get access to any breaking news happening around the continent such as transfers, competition news, the goals and assist leaderboard and more (note that you can also gain access to this page by swiping left from the overview page)

TRAINING DRILLS

Ahhhh the good ole training drills page. Here is where you get the opportunity to actively improve your players through consistent training drills that can performed once a week.


The training facility page. Note the ‘drill effects’ area to the right of the screen where you can choose the different available drills to perform. Also, note that there are some locked items within your facility which you will have to purchase in order to unlock them which can be done via upgrading your training facility.

SCOUT ASSIGNMENTS

Here is where you get the option of scouting different players based on the different characteristics of a player that you may be interested in signing.

The ‘Scout Assignments’ page where you can assign one of your scouts to search for a specific type of player that you’ll be interested in signing. Note that there are also locked components of this page that also require an upgrade to your scouting facility in order to access quicker and more efficient scouting.

SPONSORSHIP

Like I mentioned wayyy back in episode 4 of season 1, football clubs are a business and their primary objective is to make a profit. One of the many ways they do this is by signing sponsorship deals which allow them to have another stream of income coming into the club. The sponsorhip deals are basically an injection of monthly or yearly cash based on different brand names that will be displayed on your club’s home, away and alternative kits

SCOUT REPORTS

On this page, you get to see the report from your scouts based on players whom they believe could be good signings for your club.
