So, we start season 5, a season where we’ll be taking a deep dive into the very popular singular mode game: Soccermanager 23. For anyone who is yet to play this game, SM 23 is the 8th installment of a virtual singular player mode version of our beloved soccermanager worlds which has ammassed over 5 million downloads worldwide to date. SM 23 is all about being able to actively manage the day to day navigation of a real life club (or a created club) which includes things like training your players, youth development, player scouting and customized tactical set ups. You can also get to perform other interesting tasks such as upgrading your stadium, signing sponsorship deals, defining each player’s respective role within your squad, and many MANY more.
Throughout this season, we’ll be going over SM23 in its entirety to ensure that every manager who’s interested in playing can have a place to go for any sort of advice they need on this game. Today’s episode is simply an introduction which means that we’ll be diving into the real nitty gritty stuff in the upcoming episodes.
As much as I love Soccermanager worlds and no matter what, it will always be my favourite game on this platform, there is something quite special about the increasing popularity of the single player modes, and I truly believe that it plays an important role in the development of more complex tactics that can be used within SM Worlds (let’s not forget our roots now!).
