From Ball Playing Centre Backs, to Wide Forwards, we’ll be taking a closer look at every player role found within soccermanager, and I will be explaining how you can implement each role into the various teams that you’re managing in Soccermanager Worlds, as well as on SoccerManager 23
WELCOME TO SEASON 4 BABY!!!
So, what are player roles and why are they so important? Well, to put in simple terms, player roles are the identity of EVERY player within soccermanager, as well as in real life.
Every player has their own unique traits and attributes that make them stand out, but they all fall into certain categories based on their position, preferred style of soccer, and their adaptability. There are some players who can play a wide variety of different roles (like a Valverde or Pulisic for example), and then there’s players who only function well in one specific role (like a Dele Alli or Kingsley Coman for example). During the course of this season, we’ll be going over every single player role that is available to use within Soccermanager Worlds.
A major “role” (see what I did there?) will be played this season by the mobile game SoccerManager 23, as we will be looking at the different attributes that a player needs in order to be able to perform at their best in each role. We’ll also be explaining why the use of ‘arrows’ is CRUCIAL in ensuring that every player is being used correctly and therefore not wasted.
Just like in season 3, we’ll be separating each role based on different positons and placing them within their own series (so Defenders get their own series, Midfielders get their own series etc.).
So, my fellow lover of this beautiful game, strap in, get excited AF, and DO NOT touch that dial, as we’re about to seriously separate ourselves from practically 90% of the managers in this game! I’ll catch you in episode 2…
